Exiled 35 years ago by the regime of Saddam Hussein, writer Jawad Bashara travels back to Iraq with a mission : save his country’s heritage from the destruction perpetrated by ISIS. With the help of the local population as well as of archaeologists and a team of experts in new technologies, he wants to create a digitial Noah’s Ark of ancient Mesopotamia and help understand ISIS’ hatred for the world’s most ancient civilisation.
